On entame le jeu avec des crédits qui serviront pour faire les achats de poissons et des accessoires pour l'aquarium. En créant des nouveaux poissons, en ayant un aquarium à l'avant-garde et en réussissant à faire cohabiter le majeur nombre de poissons dans l'aquarium, se gagneront des crédits qui pourront être réutilisés pour l'orner ultérieurement. Le jeu n'aura jamais de pauses de l'instant où tu décideras de créer un nouvel aquarium. Si tu sors du jeu l'aquarium continuera à vivre. Le balai du jeu est celui de faire durer les poissons de ton aquarium le plus longtemp possible, de créer des nouveaux poissons et de rendre l'aquarium le plus beau possible.
